Bulgarian National Irrigation Project

We are proud to contribute to Bulgaria’s National Irrigation Project, supporting the Irrigation Agency in developing a sustainable, data-driven policy framework. Our team produced a national raster map and implemented advanced geospatial techniques to monitor illegal water usage in agricultural areas and detect potential instances of corruption. Leveraging multiple high- and very high-resolution satellite data sources, we utilized indices such as NDVI, NDMI, and NDWI to accurately track water presence in fields. These insights were fully integrated into the agency’s GIS platform, and our automated geospatial workflows ensure timely delivery of critical data and analysis.
